ASSOCIATE LAWYER – CAPITAL MARKETS/FINANCIAL LAW
Job Description
As part of your role, you will be engaged in advising clients of the financial sector, such as banks, investment firms, fund managers and listed companies, opine on capital markets law issues and be involved in transactions in the financial sector as well as regulatory investigations of the financial supervisory authorities (HCMC, Bank of Greece). The areas of law in which we seek your specialization, include takeover bid rules, corporate governance, market abuse regime, Prospectus regulation, MiFID, etc. In this connection, you need to also be familiar with all necessary corporate law aspects enabling you to effectively operate in the above areas of practice.
Candidate’s Profile
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A Law Degree from a Greek University;
- 3-5 years of proven experience in advising on matters set out in the “Job Description” section;
- A Master of Laws (LL.M.) in the relevant fields from a well-acclaimed law school abroad or in Greece; and
- Very good knowledge & use of the English language.
You must also be capable of effectively performing high-quality teamwork within tight deadlines and have good analytical and drafting skills.
