With respect to his academic qualification, he holds an LL.M. in IP & Competition Law from Max Planck Institute (MIPLC, Munich). The subject matter of his LL.M. studies covers the entire spectrum of IP and Competition law in the EU as well as the US domain (Trademark – Copyright – Patent – Design, and Unfair Competition Law).

In his professional career, he has worked for the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, Alicante), in the First Board of Appeal. He has also worked for several years – as an IP specialist – in a law firm in Munich, with his job responsibilities consisting in worldwide TM filing projects, prosecution of TM applications at an EU and international level, and, in general, the management of international IP portfolios. He has also been providing legal advice to clients with respect to the enforcement of their IP rights as well as negotiations on legal conflicts.
