We have obtained significant experience in tapping into the possibilities provided by the civil procedure code, the European statutes on international enforcement (Brussels Regulation etc.) as well as by the applicable insolvency rules for the purpose of enforcing Greek and foreign judgments as well as arbitral awards against problematic or even insolvent debtors, in Greece or abroad.
We strongly believe that a prompt and decisive enforcement action will most often be rewarded even in the worst circumstances. Our enforcement and insolvency recovery team has a history of achieving claims recovery despite the initiation of reconciliation, reorganization or even bankruptcy procedures by our clients’ debtors and most recently we were successfully involved in the NPLs market. Our enforcement arsenal includes advanced procedures for successfully locating, freezing, seizing and liquidating all types of debtors’ assets, whether visible or hidden.
