Souriadakis Tsibris advises Christofferson, Robb & Co (CRC) on the first synthetic securitization transaction in Greece

On 16 March 2021 Piraeus Financial Holdings announced it entered into an important and innovative transaction with the global investment firm Christofferson, Robb & Co (CRC) concerning the synthetic securitization of a portfolio of performing corporate loans, a first-of-its-kind for the Greek market.

The gross book value of the loan portfolio concerned is approximately € 1.4 billion and our firm, in cooperation with Simmons & Simmons UK, acted as advisor for CRC on the Greek law aspects of the transaction.

The transaction is expected to be completed in Q2 2021.
